Every batch starts with a question: does this deserve to exist? If the answer isn't yes, we brew something else. Our rotating lineup reflects seasons, experiments, and the stubborn belief that good beer takes time.
Johnson Creek IPA
Citrus-forward hop character with a clean, dry finish. Brewed with local honey and Cascade hops.
Midnight Athens Stout
Roasted malt depth with notes of dark chocolate and espresso. A slow-sipping winter companion.
Red Brick Lager
Crisp, clean, and dangerously drinkable. A Czech-inspired pilsner with a subtle floral hop note.
Peach Tree Sour
Tart and refreshing with real Georgia peaches. A session sour that tastes like summer in a glass.
Athens Wheat
Unfiltered and cloudy with hints of clove and citrus. A German-style wheat beer for easy days.
Reserve Barrel Ale
Aged in white wine barrels for six months. Complex, layered, and worth the wait. Limited release.

Save the Ales Brewing Co. was born from a simple frustration: too much mediocre beer and not enough honest brewing. In 2022, a group of Athens locals decided to do something about it.
Four years later, we're still brewing small batches at 215 Johnson Dr. Every recipe is tested, taste-tested, and sometimes retested until it meets the standard we set for ourselves. That standard is high — and it never moves.
We source locally where we can, experiment boldly when we should, and always, always respect the craft. That's not marketing. That's just how we brew.
